Healthy & Whole Food Eating

If you've followed my last 25 posts you'll notice I'm shifting the focus of this website. Previously I mostly focused on the gluten free diet for those with Celiac disease.

I'm broadening the scope of the site to focus on how to eat a whole food diet.

But really, it's more than that. It isn't just trendy healthy eating, that parrots the party line on healthy eating.

My Food Philosophy:

My journey for the last 20+ years has been to learn why I was so sick at such a young age. My research uncovered a lot of fraud and corruption within the medical and food systems. I had to constantly dig into the legalities of those systems, and the tiniest of details to even begin to get a handle on what was going on.

I was able to get myself well after about 4 years or so, and have maintained that over the years, and am always improving little things as I learn more.

The core of my philosophy is that I want to know the truth. I don't care what it is. I don't care if it's politically correct. I don't care if it sounds totally wacko. I simply want the truth about how to prevent illness and how to get well.

Current Focus:

The truth, in a nutshell, from my current perspective, is that virtually all the main stream food advice, research and manufactured products will not make us healthy. They are designed to harm us, and keep us sick, and make us dumb and tired... and become perfect consumers of their inferior foods and medicines for the rest of our life.

Even some of the so called alternative health movements are no more than the activist arm of the big food and big pharma companies. The biggest example I see at the moment is the vegan movement. It's funded by the very companies that are neck deep in the corruption and fraud I've been uncovering for 20+ years.

So, based on that, what you won't find on this site is any recommendation for a vegan diet. The main reasons being the noted fraudulent companies are pushing this agenda, as well as the diet is demonstrably nutrient deficient.

What You'll Find Here Now:

What you will find is info on how to eat a whole food, heavily meat and animal food based diet.

Why?

First: Humans have been eating meat for hundreds of thousands of years. Our digestive systems are specifically designed to digest meat. For example, we have bile who's sole job is to digest meat protein.

Second: We have a limited ability to tolerate plant fibers. That's why it's called indigestible fiber. We can't base our diet on fiber we cannot use.

Third: There are nutrients that are needed that are only available in meat. They do not exist in plants.

There are some vegans who jump through a lot of ridiculous hoops to try and convince us we can get those nutrients from things like dirt, algae and bugs. We can't eat enough dirt to get the needed nutrients. Algae only exists in a very small number of locations on earth, so that couldn't have been a past solution, and certainly won't be in the future if the solution is to build algae ponds all over the earth. Bugs... well, I'm not interested, and I doubt too many people are. Also, vegans are now claiming honey is an animal product, so if bees are to be protected, then it's only logical that they'll want to protect all the other bugs too.

Fourth: Due to having spent a lot of time in support groups for people with Celiac and other autoimmune diseases, it's become clear over time that so many of these people figure out that various plants are their enemy. Not just wheat, rye and barley, which is what those with Celiac Disease avoid (gluten free). It goes well beyond that.

When I started seeing that I started to dig into why. I've always loved fruits and veggies, and was raised to believe they were good for us, always, especially vegetables. But I couldn't ignore what so many people were saying. I had to get to the truth.

Well, low and behold, many of them are known to cause digestive problems. So much so that it goes back 60, 70, 80+ years as known conditions, with tons of research and known solutions. The solution is ultra simple, stop eating them.

Since I always experiment on myself, and am always tweaking my diet, I tried an experiment. I made sure to eat meat or dairy at every single meal. I cut out the veggies that I normally would have with my meals. I doubled the amount of meat I'd eat at a meal. I limited my starch to a small portion, such as sweet potatoes.

Surprise, surprise. It helped. I haven't had stomach pains in years, but I still was having bloating. A lot of bloating. It wasn't painful, it just expanded really big, several inches within a few minutes of finishing a meal. But, with my experiment, it went down by about 80%. Those times when I only have meat for a meal it goes down even more.

After trying this I dug even more, to find out more. Once I looked, I found all kinds of info. It's one of the reasons why Keto has become popular. Some of the popularity is due to people being able to lose weight, but another part is that there's all these people who discovered it due to having some serious health issues. Keto / Low Carb diets have been an extremely successful diet for many with autoimmune diseases, diabetes, etc.

In finding the other people who really know their stuff, they were able to connect the dots on how the medical system and big food companies are at the root of the vegan movement. They are able to point at the fraud and show how we've been misled for decades.
