A sweet and tangy dressing that's easy to make and works great on salads and fresh veggies.

This is an easy to make dressing that is also flexible. Use your favorite light colored vinegar, honey or maple syrup, yellow or dijon mustard, and fresh or dried herbs. You can even make your own Yellow Mustard or Dijon Mustard.
Drizzle on fresh green salad, grated carrots and beets, or a mixed veggie salad. Sprinkle with some toasted sesame seeds for a delicious finishing touch.
This dressing is made with apple cider vinegar, olive oil, honey, mustard, garlic, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
Use all organic ingredients. Be sure any packaged items are labeled gluten free, including the vinegar and mustard, and ensure any dried spices are labeled certified gluten free.

• 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar • 1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil • 2 tablespoons Honey, raw • 2 tablespoons Yellow Mustard • 1 clove Garlic, minced • 1 tablespoon Dried oregano leaves • 1 tablespoon Dried basil leaves • Salt, to taste • Pepper, to taste -
Substitutions and Notes:
- Vinegar: This works nice with clear vinegar or white wine vinegar if you prefer.
- Mustard: You can use Dijon Mustard if you prefer.
- Oregano and Basil: This can be made with fresh oregano and basil. Chop fresh leaves very finely, and use 2 tablespoons each. When using fresh herbs, this will keep in the fridge for about 4 days.
- Honey: You can use maple syrup instead of honey.

- Mince the garlic.
- Combine apple cider vinegar, olive oil, honey and mustard. Whisk well to blend and make it a bit creamy. Add garlic, oregano, basil, salt and pepper and blend well.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, to blend flavors.
- This dressing will keep for about 1 week in the fridge.

Serve on salad or fresh chopped veggies. Sprinkle on some toasted sesame seeds as a delicious finishing touch.
