Date sugar is actually just roasted, ground dates, so is classified as a whole food. You can make your own Date Sugar, or purchase it packaged.

Use all organic ingredients, and ensure any dried spices are labeled certified gluten free. If using packaged date sugar that it's labeled gluten free, and it shouldn't contain any other ingredients.

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons Date Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Sea salt
Directions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  • Blend on high for a few seconds until large chunks are made into a powder consistency.
  • Sprinkle on popcorn or potato chips for a hint of sweetness. If you're eating grain free, then sprinkle it on grain free items such as unseasoned potato chips.

Enjoy!
